Text by Baha'u'llah (The Hidden Words of Baha'u'llah, from the Persian No. 4):
"Whither can a lover go but to the land of his Beloved? and what seeker findeth rest far away from his heart's desire? To the true lover, reunion is life and separation is death. His breast is void of patience and his heart hath no peace. A myriad lives he would forsake to hasten to the abode of his Beloved."

I gave my heart to you, oh
I gave my heart to you, oh
Oh sweet surrender, sweet surrender
Allah, Allah, Allah
I'd give the world for you, oh
I'd give the world for you, oh
Oh sweet surrender, sweet surrender
Allah, Allah, Allah
You make me weak when you touch my hand
Oh I should run from here but I can't seem to stand
Oh I can't leave you, oh I believe you
And I believe you understand
I feel you next to me, oh
I feel you next to me, oh
Oh sweet surrender, sweet surrender,
Allah, Allah, Allah
Oh I can't leave you, oh I believe you
And I believe you understand
You make my heart beat, oh
You make my heart beat, oh
Oh sweet surrender, sweet surrender,
Allah, Allah, Allah

Oh Land of Love, we bless thee gentle Mother
Oh Land of Light, the Jewel of the Sea
Oh Land of Joy, where sister shall meet brother
And all thy souls shall dwell in harmony
And when the clouds of torment and of sorrow
Flee with the dawn at rising of the sun
And shall clasp hands in happiness tomorrow
When we have learned that all who dwell in thee are one.
All wounds shall heal, unkindness be forgiven
All hurts forgot, as in the darkest night
No more shall we by war nor strife be ridden
All the world's children face the future bright
One God shall reign in hearts a flame is lighted
And it shall lead our people to the sun
One heart, one soul, one land by Love United
Where we shall live in peace until the world be done
*This poem, entitled "Anthem for Ireland" was written as a wish for peace in Ireland. Since there is now, happily, peace in Ireland, Amy has changed a few words to include the whole world in this wish.

Chorus:
Maid of Heaven, sing to my soul
You came down with a message
To a lonely man lying in chains
And the whole world was changed.
You brought the time for all humankind
To know that we were meant to live together peacefully
You told the story of God's great glory
A beacon in the darkness, a strange, holy light
Chorus
You brought the sign to all humankind
Reminding us of God's great healing
The power of love, Baha'u'llah
You sent the whole world reeling
Chorus

O God, O Allah, Great Spirit, we are your children.
We are the flowers of one garden, and the fruits of one tree
And all our different colours are adding to our beauty
O God, O Allah, Great Spirit, we are your children.
We are the drops of one ocean and the waves of one sea
And all our different cultures are adding to our beauty
O God, O Allah, Great Spirit, we are your children.
We are all your children, God, and though we're not the same
We all have hears to worship you and call your different names
O God, O Allah, Great Spirit, we are your children.

Thanks for the rain, thanks for the river
Thanks for the rainbow, showing me where I should go
Wey hey o
Thanks for the wind, thanks for the fire
Thanks for the water, blessing me in more ways than I know
Way hey o
I look around, I see so much beauty moving
I look around, I see all the gift You gave to me and mine
Down here, breathing
Thanks for the whale, thanks for the tiger
Thanks for the swallow, flying like me 'cross the sky
Way hey o
Thanks for the earth, thanks for Grandmother Moon
Thanks for Father Sun sending their gifts down to me
Way hey o
I look around, I see so much beauty moving
I look around, I see all the gift You gave to me and mine
Down here, breathing
Thanks for these legs, thanks for these working hands
Thanks for these seeing eyes, seeing the wonder of You
Way hey o
Thanks for these ears, thanks for this singing mouth
Thanks for this searching mind, that flies to the mystery of You
Way hey o
I look around, I see so much beauty moving
I look around, I see all the gift You gave to me and mine
Down here, breathing

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed
Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come
'Twas grace that brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home
When we've been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise than when we first begun
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see
